Shipping Info

It takes 24 hours from the time your order is placed for us to receive and begin processing your order.  Orders placed Thursday-Sunday will generally be shipped on Monday. Orders placed Monday-Wednesday will generally ship within 48 hours.

NO SATURDAY DELIVERY!!

If you need your order to arrive on a certain date please request that in the special request section during checkout.

How will my order be packed?

Our meat is shipped fresh, never frozen, in vacuum-sealed packages. Your order with perishable items will be hand-packed in a  Cool Shield Insulated box liner with frozen gel packs. (We do not use dry ice.)  Our products are packed to withstand up to 48 hours of unrefrigerated shipping.

We keep a signature waiver on file with carrier so that they will always leave your package at your shipping address, even if someone is not home to sign for it. This ensures that the carrier does not "hold" your perishable meat products. Our products are packed to withstand up to 48 hours of unrefrigerated shipping.  

IMPORTANT

Rare Cuts will not assume any responsibility for any incorrect addresses provided to us; delivery, return and re-delivery charges will apply. We strongly recommend that when ordering perishable items, you confirm that the recipient or other responsible party will be available to receive, open and properly store your order. We are unable to replace products that perish due to recipients being unavailable at the time of delivery. Furthermore, please note that our boxes are clearly marked perishable on the outside and we are not responsible for the items received but not opened.

We make every effort to ship most orders within 48 hours. Inclement weather and other unforseen circumstances can cause shipments to arrive later than expected. We specifically encourage you to order prior to the week of THANKSGIVING AND CHRISTMAS to avoid unexpected delays and unavailability of certain items.
